Crawley Labour Party #Delivering4Crawley
Reinforcing the importance that Labour place on Crawley, the Labour leader spent Saturday in Crawley meeting residents and party members and key supporters. He was joined by Labour Euro candidates Anneliese Dodds and Maggie Hughes as well as Crawley’s own prospective parliamentary candidate, Chris Oxlade.
Young Labour members joined in with a large turnout of the Crawley Labour party Councillors and party activists. Speaking about Labour’s ‘One Nation’ policies, Ed offered inspiration and support to Crawley explaining how our policies will help Crawley people with the cost of living crisis, with their energy bills, with support for fair wages and with security of tenancy.
Ed Miliband then toured Crawley visiting the Crawley market and Queen’s Square. The market traders were displaying signs saying ‘Local Elections May 22nd – Vote Labour – Save Your Market’.
