It’s time to get West Sussex County Council to step up to the plate and address its responsibilities as Highways authority for Crawley and come up with a proper plan to work the chronic parking problem in Crawley. The Labour party’s online petition (Crawleys Parking Needs) to West Sussex County Council has so far attracted 173 signatories. We need to reach the target of 500 by 17 May.
To sign the petition all you have to do is open the WSCC website, click petitions and scroll through to ‘Crawley’s parking needs’ or click this link ‘Sign the Petition’. It takes about 2 to 3 minutes to complete. Help support our campaign by signing the petition today.
Lead petitioner, Mike Pickett said: “Parking capacity in Southgate is particularly tight and when talking to people in Southgate I always encourage residents to sign. And I have found that many areas in Crawley have similar problems which is why I have started this petition. It is not an easy problem to solve but much could be done if West Sussex would come up with a plan and resolve to address this chronic parking issue.”
