Cllr Andrew Skudder left the Council in April 2019.

Andrew was born in Essex in 1962, he moved to London in the 1980’s and to Crawley in 1996.

After leaving college he worked for the computer manufacurer ICL for 12 years where he travelled the world installing and supporting accounting systems, since then he managed IT systems in London Underground, ran a telecoms and radio systems help desk, and now manages project risks for a Crawley-based aerospace company.

Andrew lives in Crawley with his wife, Jayne, their son, two cats and two dogs.In his spare time he enjoys photography, music and rudimentary coding.

In the 2010 General Election, Andrew was Labour’s candidate in the Horsham constituency. He was previously a borough councillor in Crawley where he chaired the development control committee and was deputy mayor. He has been a trade union member for 20 years and is currently a workplace rep for Unite.
