A Crawley resident for the majority of her childhood and adult life; Natalie has volunteered in various Crawley-based health and wellbeing initiatives, most recently as the Public Lead for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion with NHS Sussex Health and Care Partnership. Natalie has varied academic training and memberships, including the Royal Society for Public Health and the Health Foundation.
Born severely sight impaired and a Guide Dog owner since 2017, Natalie advocates for equality and to amplify voices of those who go unheard and face widening inequalities. She champions the use of learning and innovation to tackle local issues and enable residents to build strong, resilient and compassionate communities whilst anticipating economic, social and technological opportunities and risks for both health and economic recovery in Crawley, West Sussex.
