Save West of Ifield

Save West of Ifield campaign’s latest newsletter has been published. See all the latest information related to the activities going on that are hoping to stop Homes England’s development proposals for 10,000 new homes right next to Crawley’s western boundaries.

In this edition you’ll find:

  • News of Homes England’s intention to apply for Outline Planning Application this autumn, and why the need for water neutrality won’t stop this.  But we can block the plan for 10,000 houses – other campaigns have blocked much more.  Plus we’re delighted to be working with Rusper Parish Council who have budgeted £15,000 for this work this year.  So, we’re in a reasonably good position, but of course there’s a huge amount of work to do, including raising more funds at a very difficult time.
  • A call for wildlife watchers to record what you see in the database of the Sussex Biodiversity Records Centre; and
  • Dates for upcoming events – including the Rusper Annual Parish Meeting on 19th April, Ifield Fayre on 2nd May, and Rusper Jubilee Celebrations on 5th June.

Don’t forget to complete our questionnaire if you haven’t done so already: West of Ifield Survey
