Ewhurst playing fields are now open. Cllr Jilly Hart and Cllr Peter Smith went to inspect the new site. It is certainly a much better site than the old location which as can be seen from the picture above was underwater when we took these pictures. We understand from a resident in The Mardens that this used to be a pond many years ago before the New Town came along.

And here’s a picture of the new equipment. We hope that all the youngsters and parents enjoy the new and improved facilities.
