Homes England have held several consultation sessions over the past week and they have updated their website with more details about their proposals for ‘000s of houses and a bypass.  You can find more information and make comments on their proposals here:  https://westofifield.commonplace.is/en-GB/news.

The closing date for responses to the consultation is 5pm on 11th November – please try to logon to their site and submit your comments.

Any responses to Homes England will NOT count as objections to Horsham District Council or the Planning Inspector.  Horsham District Council are expected to publish their updated Local plan later this year or early in 2023.  So please make sure you also respond to HDC’s Regulation 19 consultation which will run for six weeks after publication of the Horsham Local Plan. We’ll update this site with further information as soon as we get it.

Homes England are running an ‘Online Webinar’ – Tuesday 1st November 2022 – 7pm-8pm.  To sign up email your full name and postcode to westofifield@homesengland.gov.uk You will receive the sign-up link 24 hours before the event.

And don’t forget the ‘Friendly Dragon Mass Trespass’ walk to take place on the ‘private land’ owned by the government landowner Homes England – Ifield Brook Meadows – Guy Fawkes Day – Saturday November 5th – 11.00am from the Plough. All welcome – including dogs.
