Save West of Ifield

Save West Of Ifield campaign’s latest newsletter has been published. See all the information related to the activities going on that are hoping to stop Homes England’s development proposals for between 3,000 and 10,000 new homes right next to Crawley’s western boundaries.

The SWOI newsletter for January is now available (link below).

Horsham District Council has published its new draft Local Plan and it was reviewed and accepted by the Council on Monday 11th December. This plan included the 3,000 home site at West of Ifield – so this unwanted scheme is being progressed and we need to do everything that we can to stop it. Let us know your thoughts by completing our questionnaire, if you haven’t done so already: West of Ifield Survey

The ‘Regulation 19’ consultation on Horsham’s Local Plan is now open and we all have until 1st March to respond. And whether you’ve written loads of letters and emails to Horsham in the past, or if you’ve never written about West of Ifield, now is the time that objections REALLY count.  Please respond to the consultation. All responses will be read and considered by an Independent Planning Inspector who will judge whether the Local Plan, including the West of Ifield site, is ‘sound’ and should go forwards.  So we must all make sure the Inspector is aware of the flaws with the Plan.  You don’t need to be a Horsham resident to respond.

You can access the consultation here: https://strategicplanning.horsham.gov.uk/…/consultation…
