Save West Of Ifield campaign’s latest newsletter has been published. See all the information related to the activities going on that are hoping to stop Homes England’s development proposals for between 3,000 and 10,000 new homes right next to Crawley’s western boundaries.

The Examination of Horsham’s Local Plan has started. An Inspector has been appointed and the Regulation 19 responses from the public have been published. It’s great to see such a fantastic level of opposition to West of Ifield. More detail in the newsletter.
Read about why the West of Ifield proposals are not financially viable. Horsham councillors may say that “Homes England are part of government and have deep pockets” but government are cancelling projects due to the £22bn black hole in the public finances. And the cost of West of Ifield keeps racking up. Not least due to the need for a new sewage works from Thames Water, who are broke and likely to need a government bail-out. See the newsletter.
